Oh god, here we go. Fergie and Will i am are being sued for reportedly stealing from some random unknown band called Groundation. The song is called Waterfall, and some was supposedly stole for Fergie’s Voodoo Doll.

According to the federal lawsuit obtained by TMZ, “Voodoo Doll” – co-written by Fergie and will.i.am, who also produced the song – is “substantially and strikingly similar” to “Waterfall,” from the album “Each One Teach One.”

Grounded Music is suing for an unspecified amount.

This is not the first time will.i.am has been involved in plagiarism lawsuit. Earlier this year, DJ Adam Freeland claimed the frontman and his band stole the beat from his song “Mancry” for their “Party All the Time” track

The Dutchess was released in 2006. I love how their suing now, 3 years late! Money problems?

The voting for TCA Australia is open, and BEP is nominated! I know it’s not a huge award, but i’m pretty sure it would mean something to them if they won! Fergie ferg has revealed her weight loss strategy, and it’s nothing big! Or extreme at all. It’s her fans! In an interview with Contact Music, she says

“You know, when you’re worried about gaining a few pounds or feeling ugly, or any of those normal things that girls go through? The fans’ messages just really help the self-esteem,”

I didn’t expect this at all, but it’s true! It’s official: Jason Mraz has a crush on fergie-ferg. Jason was at the Outside Lands festival, along with BEP. In an interview with E!, they asked him is he had a celebrity crush, in which he replied with “I am crazy about Fergie.” He also says

“I always have been. I got to meet her recently. We had this awkward little chat because the whole time in my mind I’m like ‘Let me see those humps.’ I want it, but she’s married.”

She’s closing down big chicago streets for a free concert with BEP. It’s free, and it’s really cool for her to do this! Here’s info for those of you that want to go

Admission is free and open to all ages. Minors should be accompanied by an adult. Doors will open at 12:00 p.m. CDT on Tuesday, September 8 at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Ohio Street, and space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Camping overnight will not be permitted.
The taping will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m., rain or shine. Space is standing-room only for the approximately two-hour taping.

Attendees making a day of the production are encouraged to bring their own snacks and water. No food of any kind will be provided. Water stations will be available within the designated production area. There will be no seats provided or available for guests attending the show. No professional recording equipment is permitted.
